Forget Scarecrows – Falcons Protect This Farm

Farms and orchards growing fruit face huge problems from birds that swoop in and eat the crop just as the produce is ripening. At Roy Farms in Washington State, birds can eat or damage up to 10 percent of the fruit. So it has hired Falcon Force bird abatement to use the natural predator-prey relationship between falcons and problem birds to scare away the fruit-eating birds and protect the farm.
