A JAGUAR ambushes a stunned caiman – by exploding from a river like a CROCODILE. The 20-stone cat then sinks its teeth into the eight-foot reptile before dragging it back across the water and into the jungle. The unbelievable kill sequence was captured by videographer Sally Eagle in the Pantanal Wetlands of Brazil.

In Tanzania, two Lionesses and three cubs were resting near a large male lion when they were charged by three Cape buffalo. The lions ran and one of the cubs became separated from the mother. Possibly the lionesses thought the male was trying to kill the missing cub and they attacked him viciously.

At a privately-owned wildlife park in South Africa, Or Lazmi has integrated herself into a group of four of lions. Having known her since they were cubs, the lions treat her as a dominant figure and allow her to get kissably close.
